NO DICE: Disgraced Congressman Adam Schiff and CNN worked for over a year to fabricate a Russian Collusion’ story but never quite pulled it off.
After 14 months and who knows exactly how many millions spent in public money, the US House Intelligence Committee has finally admitted that it has found absolutely “No evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.”
“We didn’t find any evidence of collusion and I don’t think [special counsel Robert Mueller] will either,” said US Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX), who led the bipartisan investigation, said on FOX News “Special Report.”
President took to the Twitters airwaves on Monday night to make his own pronouncement:
Not surprisingly, Democratic Party members and their surrogates at CNN and MSNBC are claiming that the investigation has been “shut down prematurely”.
In a draft outline of a report published on Monday, the House committee even challenged the Democratic Party and US Intelligence agencies’ conspiracy theory that Russian President Vladimir Putin had preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, conceding that it was in “concurrence with the Intelligence Community Assessment’s judgments, except with respect to Putin’s supposed preference for candidate Trump.”
Meanwhile, the Democrat’s Russiagate ringleader, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), went into meltdown claiming that the ‘Republican majority’ had ended his party’s investigation prematurely and that it marked a “tragic milestone” and history would judge them harshly. Schiff claimed he simply needed ‘more time’ to find (or conjure) some evidence of ‘Russian collusion’ or ‘Russian meddling’ or ‘Russian influence’ on the 2106 election.
Schiff accused Republicans of being “unwilling to subpoena documents like phone records, text messages, bank records and other key records so that we might determine the truth about the most significant attack on our democratic institutions in history,”
Displaying shades of Joe McCarthy, Schiff decried the end of the committee stating, “By ending its oversight role in the only authorized investigation in the House, the majority has placed the interests of protecting the President over protecting the country, and history will judge its actions harshly,” and claimed that closing down his 14 month witch hunt would be “leaving questions unanswered, leads unexplored, countless witnesses uncalled, subpoenas unissued. If Russians have leverage over the President, GOP has decided that it would rather not know.”
It should be noted that before election day in 2016, 21WIRE came out and declared definitively that the US intelligence claims of Russian involvement in the US Presidential election was pure fiction. 21WIRE also foretold the demise of the Russiagate narrative in our 2018 predictions.
Schiff and the Democrats’ worries haven’t ended here, as sights will now be set on the role of the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign’s role in the financing and creation of the fraudulent ‘Trump Dossier’ document – which was then disseminated by NBC International’s astro-turfing ‘independent news’ website Buzzfeeed and also CNN. Here AP reports:
The report is also expected to turn the subject of collusion toward the Clinton campaign, saying an anti-Trump dossier compiled by a former British spy and paid for by Democrats was one way that Russians tried to influence the election. Conaway did not suggest that Clinton knowingly coordinated with the Russians, but said the dossier clearly “would have hurt him and helped her.”
He also said there was no evidence that anything “untoward” happened at a June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower between members of the Trump campaign and Russians, though he called it ill-advised. Despite a promise of dirt on Clinton ahead of the meeting, there’s no evidence that such material was exchanged, he said.
Recently, the Washington Post actually exposed how this notorious “Steele Dossier” was originally created and then laundered through Washington by Hillary Clinton associates.
The Official ’17-Agencies’ Lie
One of the false premises used by the Obama Administration, the Clinton campaign and the mainstream media – was that “17 US intelligence agencies” all agreed that there was Russian interference in the US election. As award-winning US journalist Robert Parry aptly pointed out, this claim was in fact a lie spun-up by the Washington establishment and its mainstream media proxies:
Whenever scattered expressions of skepticism arose from a few analysts or non-mainstream media, the doubts were beaten back by the claim that “all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies” concurred in the conclusion that Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered the hacking to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump. And what kind of nut would doubt the collective judgment of all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies!
Though the 17-agency canard was never true, it served an important purpose in establishing the Russia-gate groupthink. Wielding the “all 17 intelligence agencies” club, the U.S. mainstream media pounded politicians and policymakers into line, making any remaining skeptics seem more out of step and crazy.
So, in May 2017, when Clapper (along with former CIA Director John Brennan) admitted in congressional testimony that it wasn’t true that all 17 agencies concurred in the Russian hacking conclusion, those statements received very little attention in the mainstream media.
The New York Times among other major news outlets just continued asserting the 17-agency falsehood until the Times was finally pressured to correct its lie in late June, but that only led to the Times shifting to slightly different but still misleading wording, citing a “consensus” among the intelligence agencies without mentioning a number or by simply stating the unproven hacking claim as flat fact.
Despite Parry’s dedicated reporting on the issue, the mainstream media continued to ignore all the facts surrounding this case, and instead opted into an exaggerated and heavily politicized narrative which appears to have been designed to delegitimize the Trump presidency while simultaneously demonizing Russia in a meticulous effort by the US establishment to falsely build-up Russia as a geopolitical threat to ‘American democracy’.
From that perspective, the Democratic Party and Deep State witch hunt will be judged harshly by history.
